I think as Christians we have over looked a form of influence over us and our children. Video Games have become a daily part of so many lives but how far should we let that influence go. Some parents that don't let their children play with toy guns but allows them to play Call of Duty. We will get to language but for now how much violence is enough some may say none but in video games unless your doing dance work out games or Olympic sports games you are out of luck. Dose popping some one from 100 meters in the head with a rifle on war games OK are your children mature enough to handle the game and even though it says it on the package online content not rated most parents barely know the rating system and know nothing of what the games content may or may not hold. How would your react if I told you that there are games you can buy that show nudity sure you have to be over 18 to buy it but how many parents just order the games for their children. So pick three cuss words you would rather your children not be exposed to I would bet that more than 90% of you put GD on that short list ( it bothers me just to use the initials because I know what it means ) if not when I asked but now you may have added several games think misspelling or changing the pronunciation makes it better when referring to a Video game marked for teen but it is not acceptable. Now games marked Teen are the games that I draw the most issue with Teen should be broken up into 3 subsets after all most games are full of worldly actions that you get Xp (experience point for those of us that got to old to quick) or an Achievement, so these actions are being rewarded rather than showing that there are consequences for actions there are even games that let you buy your way out of trouble. So what is the moral here he who has the most money can buy their way out of anything. Ok we have talked about content as pertains to visual and language but what if I told you that there is much worse out there one that is marked for younger players  I don't want to say the name but basically your are a Mexican American that dose not speak English get caught up on a living motorcycle and the bike drags him through battles with him bouncing around behind the bike with him  he makes a ton of comments but I guess the bike dose not speak Spanish I don't see the game as funny as I guess the developers did. There are even games to come that allow same sex mirages in the game. When are we going to draw the line where are we going to draw the line, Video Games are far from evil, I play several of them that's how I know that they all are not suited for younger players. Would I want to take away my son or daughters 3DS no but I would ask anyone getting them games pay attention to what they are giving them.We talk to our children about TV and movies what is real and what is not, we talk about friends who they hang out with and who they should not we talk about books the Bible, we talk about drugs but Video Games talk to them about such thing to sometimes using just enough fact to confuse the moral line. Every one should be more mindful of what kids are playing take back the line of morality teach them what you want them to know before a Video Game dose it for you. God Bless the time you spend with your children for they are mirrors of us every habit good or bad they will hold on to for you are their hero.

Billy (Rino) I would love to hear your thoughts if you have a question on a specific game I will do what I can to help.
